Project Pan Update: #10-14

It's time for a Project X Pan Update, because I've used up 5 more products since my last Project X Pan post, which wasn't very long ago! I thought I would let you all know what I've finished. Check out products #1-9 that I've used up in this post!

10.) MAC Brush Cleanser: I virtually stopped using this completely when I purchased my giant Johnson's Baby Shampoo a little over a year ago. I like this cleanser, but I clean such a large amount of brushes on such a regular basis that it's just way too expensive to use. I could go through a bottle every 2-3 weeks! It works well, but I think my Johnson's Baby Shampoo does the trick just as well.

11.) EOS Pomegranate Raspberry Shave Cream: I loved this shave cream. I picked it up on a whim and am so impressed with how moisturizing it was. I definitely prefer it to other shaving creams I've tried. I bought this along with another EOS Shave Cream in Vanilla, which is what I'm using now that this one is finished.

12.) KMS Makeover Spray:
This is my favorite dry shampoo, and I've finally finished up my first bottle. I wound up with three bottles after people I work with received one and didn't want it, so I'm not actually out of this item, I just have one less bottle cluttering my bathroom. I did a video review of this product a while ago (back in my blonde days!). Watch it here!

3.) MAC Teddy Eye Kohl: I've used Teddy Eye Kohl for years (not this EXACT pencil... I've only had this one for about a year), and it really is a great classic brown liner. I used this one down to the very bottom... the cap is on the end of it and the actual pencil is so short the cap has kind of swallowed it whole. RIP Teddy! I'm sure we will meet again someday :)

14.) Coastal Scents Carlotta Lip Smack: This is one of my favorite glosses. It's a creamy medium pink that goes with virtually any look and makes my lips look very reflective (in a good way!). There is still some residue gloss in the tube, but when I wiggle the brush around trying to scrape it off the sides and very bottom, it just doesn't reach anymore. So short of cracking the container open or using some other depotting method, I think I'm just going to part ways with it at this point.

Well that's it for now! For those of you on Project X Pans, how is it going?
xx, Allison

  1. You are doing so good at using things up!!! Glad to hear that you like the Johnson's baby shampoo *better* than MAC...I am using a Publix generic version of the Johnson's baby shampoo as my brush cleanser, and I love it...but, have had the MAC cleanser on my shopping list (so you just saved me money! since you think the J&J is better...I am sticking to my generic J&J). Also, glad to hear the Coastal Scents glosses are good...am contemplating an order from them soon! Pammy

  3. Awesome job, good idea to use more than just makeup. There are certainly more things we buy a lot of than just makeup. <3

  5. Way to go!
You're using up tons of products! I'm going a little slower: used up only 2 products so far but I'm thrilled that their gone - those were my least favorite ones so now I can enjoy the rest of my stash until it runs out.
I'm curious about your questionnaire for Monday! Looking forward to it! :)

  9. You're great on your PP!I also hit pan on a few products,I'm happy now :)

I always had the same problem with lipglosses, but not anymore.Just put the lipgloss in a mug of hot water, wait a few seconds, and then the lipgloss will be fluid so you can fill the rest into another jar.Hope this helps you.
