LushLove: Ocean Salt Scrub

I'm starting a new series on both my YouTube channel and this website called LushLove, where I'm going to be reviewing different Lush products as I try them out. I wanted to do this because I constantly browse the Lush online site (I don't have one in my city), but I never know what to choose because I can't see/smell it in person! So I figured I would share the knowledge I do have about Lush products with all of you, in hopes that it will help any of you looking for a new Lush goodie!

Today's featured product is the Ocean Salt Scrub. I filmed a review of this for my beauty channel, which will be posted at the bottom of this post.

I've been trying out a lot of different scrubs lately, looking for one that exfoliates well but doesn't scratch my skin off. One thing I really like about this scrub is that it is very fine, so it exfoliates well but isn't really harsh and grainy.

Additionally, this scrub is safe to use on the face, which is nice because I usually exfoliate my face when I am exfoliating the rest of my body. Before this scrub, I used separate products on my body and face. Using one for everything makes everything much more simple!

As far as ingredients go, the description on the lid is, "We take the lime and the coconut (and grapefruit and sea salt) and mix them up together in our stimulating, fruity, vodka-based face scrub. For a complexion that glows." I would say that I can definitely pick up the scent of lime, grapefruit, and sea salt in this product.

This product retails for $19.95 for 4.2 oz or $34.95 for 8.8 oz on the Lush website and in stores.

What's your favorite exfoliating scrub?
xx, Allison

  1. I love buffy massage bar from lush! It is a bit abrasive. But I use that to exfoliate my skin(not face) about once or twice a week, and it has shea butter in it so it makes your skin sooo soft(:

  4. My favorite scrubs, both for face and body are by Rituals. There are the links:

When my body scrub ran out maybe 2 months ago I made the mistake of trying out a new one by Body Shop. I chose the Shea one and my isse with it is that as soon as you put on your skin the beads are gone so you don't get the exfoliation you need. I will say this though, it is very moisture rich :) This is a product I'm counting towards my Project Pan right now
