Today's NOTD is a gorgeous, frosty royal purple from OPI called Purple With A Purpose. This is one of those polishes that I absolutely despise in the bottle, but love on my nails. I like that this is a true purple rather than a purple/pink shade.
Would you wear it?

OPI Burlesque: Haul & Photos!
I picked up a few bottles of OPI's Burlesque holiday collection a few days ago. Now I know what you are all thinking: I'm on a Project X Pan! Because I've been doing so well on my Project X Pan (14 items down so far!!), and the main purpose of my Project was to use up some makeup, I thought it was okay if I picked up a few polishes to incorporate into my Halloween costume this year.

Monday Questionnaire: October 25th, 2010
Is it Monday again already? I swear I just filled out last week's questionnaire! Last week I borrowed Karen's questionnaire from Makeup and Beauty Blog, and I really like the idea of answering a set of weekly questions, like a survey. I asked for advice on how I should come up with the questions, and someone suggested the excellent idea of having 10 questions each week: some constant and some random/new. I think this sounds great! Feel free to fill these questions out in a comment below!

Project Pan Update: #10-14
It's time for a Project X Pan Update, because I've used up 5 more products since my last Project X Pan post, which wasn't very long ago! I thought I would let you all know what I've finished. Check out products #1-9 that I've used up in this post!
10.) MAC Brush Cleanser: I virtually stopped using this completely when I purchased my giant Johnson's Baby Shampoo a little over a year ago. I like this cleanser, but I clean such a large amount of brushes on such a regular basis that it's just way too expensive to use. I could go through a bottle every 2-3 weeks! It works well, but I think my Johnson's Baby Shampoo does the trick just as well.

Nail of the Day: OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia
Today's NOTD, OPI's Flashbulb Fuchsia, is a hot pink with micro-shimmer. I really like wearing this shade in the summer or when I'm trying to wear something a little flashy on my nails. I've been wearing this on my fingers and toes on the weekends when I go out with my friends, and it has the perfect touch of "club" to it!

Nail of the Day: OPI Bubble Bath
Today's NOTD is one of my all-time favorite polishes: OPI Bubble Bath. I was a little shocked when I checked my NOTD chart and realized I hadn't featured this one on this blog yet. This color is a very light, very sheer pink that gives my nails a polished, classy appearance. I like to apply 3-4 coats to make it a little more opaque, but just one or two is a nice sheer touch as well.

Monday Questionnaire!
I am an avid reader of Makeup and Beauty Blog, a fantastic beauty blog by the lovely Karen, that you should all check out if you haven't already! She is always doing these fun weekly polls, which consist of a set of questions that she answers, and then asks readers to answer in the comments. Instead of answering the questions in her comments, I thought I would answer them on my blog for all of you!
I really like the idea of weekly random questions/lists... I'm trying to think up a way I could do that for this blog. Ideas? Suggestions?

Project Pan: Start & Product Update!
That's right: I'm embarking on a Project Pan! This probably isn't news for most of you reading this, as I have already posted a video on my YouTube beauty channel about it (I'll embed the video at the bottom of this post).
If you aren't familiar with what a Project Pan is, it's when you go on a makeup buying strike until you've either hit pan or used up a certain number of products. While the most common number is a Project 10 Pan, I originally started mine out as a 20 pan because I wanted to include hair, skin, and nail products as well. However, after starting this on August 13th, I've used up 9 items, 8 of which AREN'T makeup. I feel like that's kind of cheating, because I went into this mostly to use up makeup. So I'm considering making this a 30 pan so I can use up a good chunk of makeup too.
