E.L.F. Blushed/Bronzed Duo: Review & Swatches!

I'm back with another E.L.F. product review today, this time on the very popular Blushed/Bronzed duo that is rumored to be an exact dupe of the NARS Orgasm/Laguna powder duo. I really like the idea of having a blush and bronzer in the same compact, and I really like the packaging/format E.L.F. chose to create this in. A lot of times duos are one solid powder with different sections of shades, but this duo has two separate powders of a decent size, so they don't mix! Additionally, it has a generously sized mirror under the lid of the compact.


You get 4 grams of each shade in this compact and it retails for $3. I think this is an exceptional price for the amount (and quality) of product you are getting.


While I don't own NARS Orgasm blush, I am familiar with it, and I wouldn't say the blush shade is an exact dupe. The E.L.F. blush seems a little lighter and a little less pink to me. My opinion is similar for the bronzer: very similar, but still a tiny bit different. I felt like the bronzer had a hint more of a yellow/orange tone to it, which shouldn't matter much unless you apply gobs of it, which will then make it look muddy.


The pigmentation on these is fantastic, and I think these shades would be most suitable for light to medium skin tones.
