Nail of the Day: Essie Topless & Barefoot

Today's NOTD is another polish from Essie's spring collection, called Topless & Barefoot. I was initially drawn to this polish by the name... I absolutely love it! This is a very light nude creme that is on the pinky-beige-nude side, as opposed to the grey-cool-nude side. This isn't quite as opaque as Sand Tropez (another polish from the same collection), and is definitely more pink. Between the two, I definitely prefer Sand Tropez more. I feel like pink-toned nudes are done so often that while this polish is pretty, it's not very unique.

natural light, 2 coats

What do you think?
xx, Allison

  6. Love it! I've been meaning to get Sand Tropez, so I'll go with that one since it's more opaque.

  8. I like this shade a lot, and actually I don't think it leans all that pink. I used it in my most recent nail art look, inspired by a pair of Alexander McQueen heels worn by Lady Gaga. Check it out! http://powerfemme.blogspot.com/2011/04/beautiful-brains-lady-gaga-beauty-norms.html

  10. So pretty! There's too many pink nudes out there, I've been looking for a beige nude for so long. Hopefully I'll go purchase it soon :)
