I finally got the guts to try my hand at pressing my loose shadows and MAC pigments. Ta da! I did it!
I've been crazy busy the last week preparing for my trip to New York City for the IMATS convention. This is going to be my first IMATS and I am SO excited to finally meet some of the people I've gotten to know through YouTube, and some of the people who have gotten to know me! I'm going with Ingrid (missglamorazzi) and Fleur (FleurDeForce), and we'll be there for a week, enjoying the city. This is my first time to New York, so I plan to get lots of good touristy photos to share here. For any of you planning to attend IMATS, I will be there on Saturday!
On top of the hectic-ness this trip already presents, I recently was diagnosed with pneumonia. I went to the ER Friday night because I was having a lot of trouble breathing, and after the doctor's examination he concluded I have a bacterial pneumonia, which explains all of the awful cold symptoms I've had lately. This is the last thing I needed, considering I already have enough on my plate preparing for this trip (and over a week of missed classes) ahead of me. So now I have some antibiotics, disgusting (yet potent) cough syrup, and a really clunky inhaler I get to huff.
So long story short, things have been kind of crazy for me lately and I apologize for not blogging as much as I should. Once I get back from New York late next week, I will try to get back in the swing of things. ReplyDeleteooh pneumonia is a b*tch! My mom had one about 7 years ago and ever since she can't stand perfumes or scented candles or any lush products.. hope it doesn't happen to you! Get well and healthy :)
