Nail of the Day: OPI Hot & Spicy

Today's NOTD is quickly becoming one of my favorite summer nail polishes. OPI Hot & Spicy is a bright orange, and a surprisingly wearable one. Orange is a color that I just learned to avoid early in life, so I was extremely hesitant when choosing this color. What makes it unique is its shade; while I'm sure here in this single photo it just looks plain orange to you, when compared next to other orange polishes it takes on a much more coral-pink-orange appearance. Thus, you get the fun of wearing an orange polish without the atrocious pumpkin orange shade. It looks great against the tan I've gotten, and it really gives my nails a nice summer pop!

The consistency on this one is good; 2 coats should be enough for complete opacity.

  3. You should try Essie Mango Bango. If you like that you will love this! Mango Bango is on my nails now, and I love it for summer.

  8. This is lush! I'm wearing Bourjois Tangerine Dream at the moment which is orange but has a bit more red in it. I love this OPI shade though, and I totally see the pinky coral in it too.
