A while back, I splurged and bought my first Chanel nail polish, Black Pearl. At $25 a pop, these polishes aren't cheap, but I was so impressed with the quality of Black Pearl, I knew I had to cut loose and get Quartz when I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I love this shade because even though it is neutral, it's very unique. Most light, frosty, neutral polishes are very golden/yellow/champagne in tone, but this one is very taupe. It's one of those shades that depending on the lighting, I can't tell if it is brown or grey. In fact, it reminds me exactly of the CoverGirl eyeshadow, Tapestry Taupe.
natural light, 2 coats
I have a feeling this is going to be my go-to neutral polish for this fall. You'll probably see this one on my nails a bunch in videos!
What is your favorite neutral polish right now?

That is such a gorgeous color...I just might have to spend the money to get this one.

This one looks gorgeous! I'm actually loving all the Chanel nail polishes from their fall collection. I'm thinking about trying out the Peridot one...

I love Chanel polishes but I just can't bring myself to pay $25 for one. I've found that Essie Steel-ing The Scene is a pretty close dupe for Quartz and it's just as beautiful..thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! It kind of reminds me of a more taupe-y version of Orly Rage? Maybe? hah :)
