Today's NOTD is Trendsetter, a shade from China Glaze's new Metro collection for fall. It is an opaque, chartreuse green with gold shimmer, and I feel like this is the kind of shade you either love or absolutely despise. I think this shade is a wonderful, trendy color for fall and I can't wait to rock this on my nails whenever I'm tired of the classic autumn burgundies and taupes! Well done China Glaze!
Yay or yuck?
xx, Allison

Hmm..I'm not quite sure. I don't hate it, but I don't know if I would wear it...maybe it's one of those things you need to see in person. :) This post reminded me that I can start wearing Paradoxal again since it's (almost) autumn, yay! :) xx
ReplyDeleteYay, it's unique, I like it (:
ReplyDeleteyay!:D
ReplyDeleteI'm the latter. This isn't a color I would personally reach for. I like the traditional burgundies, taupes, etc. :)

ReplyDeleteYuck. I'm defiantly not in love with this, its nice for fall but such a different color that dose not seem right for the nails.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, but I really don't like it. Yuck in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI just got this color too! Love!!!
ReplyDeleteI think its more of like a spring color... maybe? No like!

the colour isn't one i would personally reach for but it suits your skin tone! :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't personally wear this.. I imagine it would suit a tan complexion (I'm so pale it would just wash me out and look odd). Reminds me of the Shrek OPI yellow and green shades... interesting in the bottle but atrocious on the nails :S
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I might start to love it in a few weeks time but right now I'm not really feeling it.

I don't usually care for china glaze, but this is a perfect fall color!
ReplyDeleteon the first sight "YUCK" on the second "YAY!!"
ReplyDeleteIf we had china glaze in Austria, I would definitely check it out ;)

Hmm. Personally I wouldn't wear it but if I saw someone else wearing it I'd be interested to try it out at the shop. Though honestly it wouldn't be my go-to nail polish.
ReplyDeletei wouldn't wear this colour. It reminds me of mustard LOL :)
ReplyDeleteI finally broke down and bought this polish because of you, I'm so glad I did! It's so fun for the fall. I added a second coat and fell in love with how rich the green got and the flecks of gold.
ReplyDeletei would prefer it if it was like a goldish color
