MAC Gingerly Blush: Review & Swatch!

Today's featured product is another blush from the neutral/brown MAC blush family (check out my review on MAC Equilibrium here!). Gingerly is one of MAC's most famous blushes, and now I understand why. It's a very unique color, and I feel like it would flatter most skin tones. I would describe it as a brick-brown, because there are definitely red and orange tones in it.


Gingerly has a sheertone finish, which I like because I've always felt that sheertones are the easiest to wear: they have color but don't apply heavily.


I am pleasantly surprised with the way this looks on my skin. I thought the red/orange tones would make it harder to wear, but they actually add a nice glow to your face while still keeping the overall blush neutral. I think it's really pretty!

  8. Loveee this blush! I recently purchased it for the first time when I went to make in hopes that they still had equilibrium in stock, but I was out of luck! :( instead I bought gingerly and loveee it :))

  15. Would this blush work on people that have cool undertones to their skin? I'm an NW20, and I'm scared of looking like an Oompa Loompa with this blush, but it looks so pretty!
