I've been on a major lipstick kick lately, so it comes as no surprise that I've been on the hunt for good lip liners as well. I was browsing through the drugstore recently and came across the new CoverGirl Lip Perfection liners. These caught my eye because I love the CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipsticks and their Liquiline Blast eye pencils (which look exactly the same as these lip liners). At $6 each, I thought I would try a few out.
If you are familiar with the CoverGirl Liquiline Blast eye pencils, these are the exact same consistency: creamy but with good staying power. They glide on the skin really easily and deliver an opaque color that doesn't feel drying on my lips. They're easy to sharpen too: any regular size sharpener will work (I hate twist up liners!).
I felt that these wore decently long, however I am not a seasoned lip liner tester, so take my review with a grain of salt (or inexperience). For me, the biggest con with these is the limited shade range... my store only had 6 different colors!
Overall, if you are looking for a good, affordable lip liner to try, I certainly wasn't disappointed with these, and if more shades became available, I would be open to getting more!
Do you like using lip liner when you wear lipstick?
xx, Allison

I don't usually... I just trace some concealer around my lips if I'm wearing a bright color!
