MAC Emerald Dusk Pigment: Review & Swatches!

The last item I purchased from the MAC Fall Colour collection is the pigment in Emerald Dusk. This caught my eye because the shade is very unique: a deep emerald with a grey undertone. This screams fall smokey eye to me, and is a perfect shade for applying all over the lid and blending into the crease for a sultry look.

Emerald Dusk has a really nice sheen and a pretty sparkle to it. It would also look nice in the crease with both warm or cool tones on the lid. The fact that it is a cool, neutral green makes it very versatile.

The pigmentation of Emerald Dusk is excellent. Here is a swatch of it applied dry:

MAC pigments retail for $20 and can be found anywhere MAC cosmetics are sold.

Would you wear it?
xx, Allison

  1. i personally don't like loose pigments cause they're tricky, but that color is gorgeous!
