I did a little research, and discovered Lightscapade is a repromote from the Danse release in 2006. I started reading reviews, and found endless raves about how this is a "holy grail highlighter". I bought it off Nordstrom.com the first chance I got (it also sold out practically instantly on Nordstrom as well).

Lightscapade is the lightest mineralize skinfinish I've ever seen from MAC. It is an almost-white gold with blue and pink veining throughout. It is quite pretty to look at.

To give you an idea of just how light it is, here is Lightscapade in between Soft & Gentle and By Candlelight.
The sheen of this is GORGEOUS. Unlike Soft & Gentle (the msf I was using most to highlight), it doesn't have any sparkle to it, which I like. It gives a beautiful glow to the skin, without being too light. The shade of this once applied is very similar to my MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl.

I think anyone with a fair to medium skintone would love this as a highlighter. It's easy to work with and looks great! MAC mineralize skinfinishes retail for $28.50. As far as I know, Lightscapade is sold out everywhere online, but check your local counter for it!
Did you haul anything from MAC Fall Colour?
xx, Allison

I wish I could have this MSF, too, but in Germany it seemed like everyone wanted to have it and so I couldn't order one :( It' so pretty!

ReplyDeleteLove it! Too bad it was sold out at my local MAC... I've been looking for a highlighter for a while.... I'm currently looking for Soft and Gentle skin finish at a ton of CCOs.
