Nail of the Day: OPI Warm & Fozzie

Today's NOTD is another holiday polish called Warm & Fozzie from the OPI Muppets collection. This is a honey/gold/amber color with copper, green, and gold microshimmer in it. Very complex, very beautiful! It reminds me of autumn leaves turning color.

In my opinion, this is one of the few redeeming polishes of the Muppets collection. Overall, I'm really disappointed with OPI's holiday release for this year: once again it is too glitter happy and not themed around holidays. Muppets is a fun release, but in my opinion, shouldn't have been chosen as holiday. I think the glitters are very so-so, and most of the shimmer shades from this release seem redundant when looking at past OPI collections. However, I think Warm & Fozzie is a really beautiful shade, and you don't see something like this from OPI too often.

  5. I got it and it's my favorite from the entire collection! It's a must have for fall in my opinion. Your photo does not do it justice. I was actually going to recommend this to you. I also got Designer.. da better, Excuse Moi, and Rainbow Connection. Everything else seemed uninteresting.

  6. I love the Muppets, so I'm really excited about the collection, but I agree that it's not a very good theme for the holidays. I haven't been able to get my hands on any of the shades yet, but based off of the swatches I've seen online I'm planning on getting Designer...De Better, Rainbow Connection, and maybe this shade as well depending on how it looks in person. I don't usually like brown nail polish, but this one looks pretty!

  11. This is the only one I got from the Muppets collection. Try layering it over a darker polish(it's currently on my nails as a top layer, with Wagon Trail as the base layer). Beautiful. :)

  14. Hey Allison, I'm not sure if you have heard this from anybody before, but could you maybe do a blog post or video about how you do your nails?? How do you stop them from chipping?? How thick are the coats you use when you apply colour??

    As for the "Warm and Fozzie" colour - I love it!! I recently got it in the Muppet Minis box from OPI with 3 other shades. :-) I'm very excited to try it!

  15. I got a normal size bottle of animal-istic (in think its called, lol) and the small pack of four different ones. they do seem very glittery though, i agree. i cant wait for the nicki minaj ones!! especially the blue 'fly' one!!

  21. That's really pretty. Better as a fall color though. I've heard mixed things about this collection. I love glitter, but I have a lot of them and don't wear them often enough. Maybe i'll pick this one up though.

  22. Warm and Fozzie is my favorite from the collection too! I also got Desinger de Better, Divine Swine, and Excuse Moi. They had a deal going at my salon so I thought I'd stock up. I think there's some hits and some real misses in this collection, and I agree that it's not exactly holiday themed. I think OPI is using it for their holiday collection because the Muppets movie comes out Nov. 23rd.
