My October Birchbox has arrived, and I thought I would share what I got with all of you!

Each box comes with a card explaining the products in the box, which is handy because most of the products are ones I've never heard of or used!

I got a couple packets of a color shampoo and conditioner from Oribe. I've never heard of this brand!

Then I got 4 deluxe samples:
- Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Make-up Primer in Bronze: a little skeptical about this... I just don't want it to make my face look dirty. Will have to wait and see!
- Orofluido Beauty Elixir: an argan oil treatment for the hair! Sounds a lot like Moroccan Oil.
- Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream: I've never used anything from this brand, but I'm always up to try a new night cream.
- Befine Lip Exfoliator: I'm really excited to try this! There was a Befine night moisturizer in the Birchbox I received back in April and I LOVED it, so I'm hoping another product from the brand is just as good!

On the other side of the product explanation card there is a little message explaining the theme/use of the samples in the box. This box has a "Prep & Finish" theme, and all of the samples were centered around that. I didn't choose this theme upon ordering or anything, Birchbox chose for me!

So there's everything! Hopefully a few of these products work out well. I like that for $10, I have several options to test in order to find new things I love! You can sign up for Birchbox on their website.
Are you subscribed to any beauty box services?
xx, Allison
I get BB and I just signed up for Julep Maven, have you heard of that one? It's for nail polishes. It's pretty new, so I'm going to give that a try..

I got different items except the spackle which I love. Oribe is very famous with us Latin people :)
ReplyDeleteWow, Allison! That is sooo cool!! Everything looks so pretty to wear.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love the Orofluido hair oil, I have a full size. It lasts for ages and gives you ''hair salon'' finish.

I got the exact same samples except for the night cream (got a cleanser instead). This one was much better than last months box!
ReplyDeleteorofludio is amazing
ReplyDeleteAhhh! The Orofluido oil smells AMAZING. The full size one I ordered just came in today -- the bottle is gorgeous. I love Moroccan oil, and yeah they're pretty similar... Except it doesn't smell like vanilla and amber! :)
ReplyDeleteI did not subscribe to any beauty box services, am also skeptical about these deluxe samples...I have seen many reviews and still hesitate to signup because I have a feeling that I will receive something that will never use and go to waste... (ie: colors I don't like or doesn't match my skin tone, or scent I don't like...etc) but still they are somehow attracting *_* I can't make up my mind just yet ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteI am super interested in a review on the Caudalie night cream!
ReplyDeleteI am a subscriber to Birchbox. I was like you and very skeptical about doing it because I really wondered if it was gonna be worth it. My first box was a miss and I almost cancelled it but I didn't and after that I loved atleast three things out of each box! :)
ReplyDeleteMy October box was almost completely different than yours, except the Laura Geller tinted primer (which I actually really love, by the way). I've only had one box that I was super disappointed in (September), but others have been pretty good. Post is here: http://thereasonableblonde.blogspot.com/2011/10/october-2011-birchbox.html
ReplyDeleteYour box is the exact same as mine. I was skeptical about the spackle, because I got bronze. It didn't really make my face look dirty, just bronze-y. It makes my foundation look AMAZING. The night moisturizer smells like a fresh leaf, and the BeFine was okay. Not super impressed.

I just signed up as well. I won't get my first box until Nov. and I can't wait. I was skeptical and still am I guess until I get my first one but seeing how yours turned out gets me a lil excited,
ReplyDeleteMy mom loves Caudalie (she spends hundreds of euros every year buying products from their anti-aging line). It's very popular in France (it's a French brand), but quite expensive !
ReplyDeleteI´m subscribed to Glossybox. This service just started last mont in Spain. I´ve got my first one this month and isn´t really good though... hopefully it ill get better next month...
ReplyDeleteI got the same exact box :) I wonder what you think of the actual products. I love that makeup primer
ReplyDeleteI have the Laura Geller primer in mine... I still prefer my NARS one but it makes a decent back up.
ReplyDeleteLOVE birchbox && the befine night cream I LOVE!

I'm not a subscriber to birch box yet, but I'm really thinking about it. (:
ReplyDeleteI'm a subscriber to birchbox but I've been super disappointed the past few months with my box :( I seem to always get the "left overs." I'm extremely jealous of the glossy box they have in Europe though they get full size products.
