The tutorial is an inspired look of Caroline's makeup from The Vampire Diaries. I loved how dramatic it was and how striking it looked with her fair features.

The key elements to Caroline's eye makeup in the above photo is a high-sheen light color on the first half of the lid, a very dark, unblended crease, and thick black liner all around the eye. Here is the eye look I came up with:

The products I used on the eyes are:
-MAC Nubile paint pot
-Inglot eyeshadows in 395 and 461
-MAC Handwritten eyeshadow
-Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner in Blackest Black
-MAC Feline Kohl Power (now permanent!!)
-Benefit They're Real mascara
-NYX 132 lash (cut in half, used as a demi lash on each eye)
To see the colors I used on the cheeks and lips, and how I did the look, here's the video!

Quick question. In your YouTube video, the first Inglot shadow you used, you said 395P, but here it's just listed as 395. I really like that shadow and am planning to buy it, so I wanted to know which was the corret name. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSpelling fail. That should read "correct name". Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI just loved, you have such a talent!
ReplyDeleteI really would like for you to do a look for teenagers with 17years-old. Very neutral but at the same time that keep all the atencion! :)
xoxo ♥
Hi Tina! Sorry it took a while for a response to your question... didn't see it until now! 395 and 395P are the same shadow. They don't recycle numbers for any of their shadows, the P just stands for Pearl finish (which is the only 395 finish there is, if that makes sense). Hope this clears it up! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
