Rose Fresque can be described exactly as the name implies: a beautiful rose pink. I like that it isn't too bright and can be used for more of a romantic look on the cheeks. I also like that it is matte!

The pigmentation on this blush was good. It isn't the most pigmented blush I've used, but I certainly didn't have any trouble building color with it. Here's a swatch!

And last, but not least, the packaging is all black with a rose design on the front. Very fitting, considering the name of this shade!

The full-size product retails for $29.50 and is available wherever Lancôme products are sold!
Would you wear it?
xx, Allison
This blush looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, it is true that "rose" in French is the name of a flower (as in English), but it also means "pink" (in French, it means both words, so a "pink rose" will translate into une "rose rose". Weird, I know). So here, Rose Fresque will translate into Pink Fresco.
And as for the rose design on the packaging, it is there simply because this flower is Lancôme's emblem ;)
Beautiful blush, I love the packaging! Hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas! :)

ReplyDeleteI love lancome products. I have blushes, mascara, eye liner, lotion, foundation. I just can't stop using them.
ReplyDeleteOh I got one of those sample sized blushes from Lancome once. It was called Evening Affair, and I had a bit of trouble with pigmentation in mine. Rose Fresque is such a pretty colour.
ReplyDeletecolor is good but ,I think it is not a good color for brunettes,is it?(I really don't know exactly so I asked:)
ReplyDeleteI'm a brunette with an olive complexion in the summer, and a medium complexion in the winter. This shade looks great on me in the winter when I'm lighter, but I didn't have it in the summer to try it, so I'm not sure yet...
