Naturopathica Vitamin K Brightening Eye Serum: Review!

As someone who battles dark circles daily, the idea of a anti-dark circle eye cream is definitely appealing. The Naturopathica Vitamin K Brightening Eye Serum is formulated with-- you guessed it-- vitamin K, which is known to improve skin tone and supposed to fight dark under eye circles. Naturopathica is a holistic company that specializes in natural and organic skin care, so this cream is also much less "processed" than most.

The first thing I noticed upon using this serum is the color... it looks like honey mustard (yum!). It also has a very unique smell! Every day when I apply it I try to figure out what the smell is, but just can't put my finger on it. It's almost spicy. Very unusual. I'm not insanely fond of it, but it isn't horrible either.

Another thing I noticed right away is that this serum is very thick in consistency, especially considering it is called a serum. This is thicker than most eye creams I have tried! It takes a little getting used to, but I feel like the extra thickness actually makes it a bit more moisturizing. You just want to be careful not to apply too much, or it won't all absorb into the skin!

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this product. The only real downside I found to it was the price, $72 for a .5 oz bottle. Eye creams often run around this price in general, so I don't think it is outrageous, but it is still a spendy product.
