Outfit of the Day: Sequins & Sunshine

It's time for another Outfit of the Day, this time featuring one of my new favorite cropped sequin shirts. I love that when I wear a piece of clothing with sequins, it is enough sparkle for an entire outfit (no jewelry needed!). Except for my watch, of course, because I feel naked without my timepiece!

Top: Nordstrom, Pants: Express, Heels: Jessica Simpson

For my makeup, I stuck with neutral brown tones on the eyes and a neutral blush on the cheeks. For lips, however, I decided to go with a bright red, because I feel like it contrasts the sequins of the shirt perfectly!


Because the sequins in the shirt are rose gold (as you can see in the below photo), I paired my rose gold watch with it to match!

I paired the top with black skinny pants, a black cami (which for some reason is showing up grey in photos? It isn't noticeable in person), and grey suede heels.


These are some of my favorite heels. They're a grey suede with a hidden platform from Jessica Simpson and are super comfortable! I think they are a great way to switch things up from the classic black heel, and they go with almost anything!

I barrel curled my hair using a 1" iron, then shook out the curls so they looked a bit more relaxed.

  71. Actually, that isn't the same shirt. Even though taupe colors look the same, mine is by a different brand and is cropped (where this one is full length). I know because I looked at that one in store too, and decided with the other one! So I don't know what size to direct you toward with the one you linked... it's definitely cute though!! :)
