I think the packaging of these is pretty sleek. I like that they are metallic and the entire casing is the actual shade of the pencil itself (makes it easy to grab out of a pile!). I like the color range too, but I don't think this is exactly a "brown eye" specific selection; black, brown and purple are shades that are universally flattering on any eye color.

These apply really nicely. They have great pigmentation and are very creamy. However, when it comes to wearability, I found that they weren't quite as smudgeproof as other liners. If you are someone looking for a pencil that won't budge, this isn't for you. However, if you are looking for a pencil you can smoke out a bit, this would work pretty well! One thing I really like is that the brown shade is a really dark brown... sometimes brown eyeliners are just too light to really function well as liner, but this one is perfectly dark for my taste.

Overall, I think this is a product that could suit anyone of any eye color. If you're looking for some easy to use everyday pencils in a few good shades, it's worth trying. You can find this for roughly $8-11 depending on where you look, which pans out to less than $4 a pencil, so it's a pretty affordable product as well!
Have you tried these pencils?

I use these~ I'm not fond of the brown shade since I don't use brown too often, but I love the pigmentation of the black and purple. I'm actually almost out of the black!
ReplyDeleteI have this, and I have hazel eyes. They work really well for any eye color. I love them.

i have the nude trio and they're very shimmery!
ReplyDeletethe brown eyes trio is a tad boring, for my taste, i usually prefer the colours for the blue or green eyes. these look nicely pigmented, but i'm worried about staying power :/
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for a new purple eyeliner for a while now - was using Neutrogena, but seems they don't make that color any more :( :( - and I already use brown and black for everyday, so this seems great!!! Will for sure be checking this out!!!
ReplyDeleteI have brown eyes but I bought the one for blue eyes because I wanted a blue liner. I love the light brown color that it comes with for my lower lash line. These stay really well for me, no raccoon eyes here :)
