I really love the overall packaging of these. The actual cases are the same color as the blush inside, so you don't have to waste any time digging through compacts to find them (I'm looking at you, NARS!). I also love that the blush has the Amazon River in its design!

Exposed is matte, which I like because mattes are my favorite blushes. When you look at it in the pan, it looks pretty plain brown. However, when swatched, it takes on a bit of a plummy-berry hue, making it look less like a bronzer and more like a blush!

The pigmentation on this blush is incredible, and it goes on the skin really nicely. Here's a swatch!

Another cool feature with these blushes is something I don't hear a lot of people mention, but the pan is magnetic and pops right out of the compact! Perfect if you want to put it in a Z-Palette for a trip, or if you want to organize all of your Amazonian Clay blushes in one palette!

Overall, I am not disappointed at all with this purchase. Expect to see this blush pop up in more than its fair share of my videos! These blushes retail for $25 and can be purchased wherever Tarte cosmetics are sold! Right now, you can use the code GGD to get 15% off your entire purchase on TarteCosmetics.com, so if you're going to order online, do it through there!
Do you own any of the Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes?
xx, Allison
I love Tarte's Amazonian clay blushes! I use Blissful during the summer because it has this beautiful, coral hue which looks so great on the cheeks. And then I recently got Exposed and am LOVING it for the cooler months! The best thing is that they last All. Day. :)
ReplyDeleteWait, how did you get the pan to pop out!? I've had these for a month and I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteThis colour looks gorgeous. Do you know if they are available in the UK?
ReplyDeleteHaha just flip it over in your palm, and gently throw/tap toward your palm! It will pop right out into your hand. It's just magnetic. There is also a tiny little hole on the backside of the case that you could stick a pin through to push it out.
ReplyDeleteSeems nice :)

I was also debating about trying these or not but the price+postage was very high. When a friend of mine told me that he would travel to US and asked me if I wanted anything, the words literally jumped out of my mouth: "Tarte Exposed!!!And Blissful!!!" You should see the look on his face (Huh???). What I love about these blushes is the fact that they last a really long time on my cheeks, no need to touch up!
ReplyDeleteI have Tipsy and LOVE it! Wear it all the time!
ReplyDeleteI just bought this the other day from recommendation from a different YT gal!!! I already own Dollface and Peaceful and LOVE them!!! These are one of my favoriate blushes!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea these blushes popped out! Thank you for mentioning it. I had planned on going through the whole heat depotting process.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought new make up in ages. So this summer I decided to update what I had, and really needed a blush. This one was the first thing that I purchased since it was recommended to me by the Sephora sales associate. I've been really happy with it.
ReplyDeleteYet another Tarte product to lust after... oh dear.
ReplyDeleteI love Exposed! I bought it and Dollface this spring, and then I snatched up Blushing Bride (just *after* my November wedding, haha), Natural Beauty and Flush during the Friends and Family sale a few weeks ago. The first two I picked up are still my favorites, but now that I'm over halfway there I need the rest of the collection! :-)
ReplyDeletejust ordered this from sephora when they were having their most recent sale. can't wait to get it! :D
ReplyDeleteI really like the packaging and the shade is gorgeous!

i own exposed and i'm dying to get flushed, which is this hot pink matte color that in my opinion blows Nars Desire out of the water! i love the compact too, i throw it in my purse and use it to hold other blushes i've depotted as well, it's so handy!
