Nail of the Day: Essie Topless & Barefoot
Today's NOTD is another polish from Essie's spring collection, called Topless & Barefoot. I was initially drawn to this polish by the name... I absolutely love it! This is a very light nude creme that is on the pinky-beige-nude side, as opposed to the grey-cool-nude side. This isn't quite as opaque as Sand Tropez (another polish from the same collection), and is definitely more pink. Between the two, I definitely prefer Sand Tropez more. I feel like pink-toned nudes are done so often that while this polish is pretty, it's not very unique.
What do you think?

IMATS NYC 2011!
Hi everyone! I'm going to have a few different photoblog posts of my recent trip to NYC, and I decided to start with one of IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show), the event we attended while in the city.

Monday Questionnaire: April 18th, 2011
It's the first Monday Questionnaire in a few weeks! I would like to point out that even though the date is April 18th, it is literally snowing outside of my window right now. No, I don't live in a snowglobe. Or do I?

Nail of the Day: OPI Do You Lilac It?
Today's NOTD is probably one of OPI's most famous polishes, Do You Lilac It? This light purple creme is perfect for spring but could definitely be worn year round as well. I like that it is bright enough to stand out, but not so bright that I get sick of it after a day. This polish is nice and opaque, one coat is almost solid coverage!
Do you lilac it? :)

Update: IMATS NYC!
Hey everyone! Today is the first Monday in a long time that I am not posting a questionnaire. I've decided to do an update post instead, just because I don't really have the time to put together a questionnaire, and I have a lot to tell you all!
I finally got the guts to try my hand at pressing my loose shadows and MAC pigments. Ta da! I did it!
