Holiday Mug Haul!
I tweeted a photo of some holiday mugs the other day and got a lot of questions about them, so I figured I would do a blog post about them! I had been on the hunt for some adorable, oversized Christmas mugs and was having the hardest time finding something cute and affordable (I don't want to pay $15 for a mug!). When I came across these at Target for only $3.99 a piece, I knew I had struck gold!

Sigma "The Cities" Travel Brush Set: New York
Sigma has been on a roll with new brush releases lately, and their new "The Cities" travel collection does not disappoint! This set of 7 short-handled brushes is available in four different "cities": Tokyo (pink), Paris (red), London (brown w/18k gold), and New York (black). Each set contains the same seven brushes, just with different colored handles. Click here to check them out on the Sigma website!

The brushes come in case that snaps apart to act as two little holding cups... pretty nifty!

Physician's Formula Mineral Glow Pearls: Swatch & Review!
Today's featured product is another Physician's Formula face powder, and I'm happy to say I can give this a much more positive review than the Bronze Booster. This is the Mineral Glow Pearls compact in Translucent Pearl, and is a face highlighter.

Physician's Formula Bronze Booster: Swatch & Review!
Today's featured product is the Physician's Formula Bronze Booster. I have been really curious about trying this product because I've never used anything like it before: the actual product is small balls of bronzer powder! Kind of like a ball bath at McDonalds but a zillion times more sanitary.

Nail of the Day: Zoya Kissy!
Today's NOTD is Kissy, a polish from Zoya's holiday 2011 collection Gems & Jewels. This polish has a beautiful red microshimmer base filled with pink, purple, and green bar glitter. In my opinion, this is the best holiday polish I've seen released this year. It's classic, festive, and unique all wrapped into one! I love that Zoya used bar glitter in this; it's something you don't see too often and really makes the polish stand out!
I'm including a second photo that is a little more blurred, which will help you get a better idea of what the polish actually looks like on. Camera lenses like to focus on individual glitters, taking away from the effect as a whole!
Beautiful, isn't it?! Additionally, this only needs two coats to be completely opaque! I did find that bar glitter is a little trickier to apply, because the little bars like to hang off the end of the nails as you paint them on, but overall the formulation wasn't too fussy.
Would you wear it?

Nail of the Day: China Glaze Blue Year's Eve
Today's NOTD is another holiday polish from the China Glaze "Let it Snow" collection called Blue Year's Eve. This is a beautiful royal blue shade with a brighter blue microshimmer that is perfect for anyone not into the traditional holiday reds/greens/golds. A shade like this doesn't normally catch my eye, but I was having a swatchfest of the new colors and as soon as I painted it, I could fully appreciate its beauty. This is definitely one you have to try on to get an idea of... the bottle doesn't do it justice!
The application was fantastic and two coats was plenty for opaque coverage! Will definitely be wearing it this winter, and the rest of the year as well! Would look great on the toes in the summer with sandals!

Revlon Lip Butters: Swatches & Review!
Revlon has released a new line of lip products, called Lip Butters. If you follow this blog regularly, you have probably noticed that I am a huge fan of Revlon lip products, so I was really excited to get my lips on these and try them out! There are 20 shades available in a wide variety of colors. My current Lip Butter accumulation is 8 (for now).

Nail of the Day: OPI Designer... De Better!
Today's NOTD is the second polish I picked up from the OPI Muppets holiday collection: Designer... De Better! I love the name, and this taupe/champagne foil isn't something you see every day. It definitely stands out on my nails, but is a neutral color so it goes with everything! It also only needs one coat for full coverage (I added an extra one to double check that the color didn't change).
Would you wear it?

MAC Glitter and Ice Paint Pots: Swatches & Review!
MAC has released its new Glitter and Ice collection for holiday this year, and among the new items are some new Paint Pot shades. I admit, Paint Pots are one of my biggest MAC weaknesses; I have a tendency to acquire them like a squirrel gathering nuts for winter. Furthermore, the shades released with Glitter and Ice are very wearable (unlike Posh Paradise), so they are more justifiable to my squirrel-hoarder-like mind.

MAC Glitter and Ice: Mineralized Eyeshadows Swatches & Review!
MAC Holiday is here!! MAC is releasing a plethora of holiday products this year, and their Glitter and Ice collection is definitely the stand out for me. This is the "individual" product collection (no gift sets, etc.), and MAC teamed up with Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir to design it. The outer packaging is silver, and the product packaging is sleek, white, and all the names have something to do with winter/figure skating! I picked up a few of the mineralized eyeshadows (among other things, to be covered in another post).
