MAC recently released their "Naturally" collection, a set of neutral products perfect for everyday wear. Included in the launch were three new mineralize blushes. I've never owned a MAC mineralize blush before because I usually find the MAC mineralize blushes to be way too shimmery for my taste. However, when I saw that these have a very satin-- almost matte-- finish, I was sold (or rather, they were)!
I would describe these shades as a warm apricot, burnt coral, and warm pink. I think this color selection really is perfect for creating "natural" everyday looks!

All of these were wonderfully pigmented and apply like a dream. As I stated earlier, these have a subtle satin finish, and for the most part really look matte on the skin. I love this, because usually the mineralize products are overly sparkly/frosty and I prefer my cheek color to be more on the matte side!
Fresh Honey, Early Morning, Subtle BreezeI highly recommend these if you are looking for a new neutral blush... I'm pretty much in love with these! The quality is definitely there and the colors are beautiful. My favorite shades are Fresh Honey and Early Morning... I feel like MAC doesn't release colors like these too often!

ReplyDeleteWow I'm so glad I read this, I was so gonna get Fresh Honey and/or Subtle Breeze cuz of @missglamorazzi 's haul but now that I know they're rather matte I'm not sure il go for them. I'm more of a dewy, slightly shimmery girl for cheek colour. I have dark hair and I feel like if I don't do that I'd look quite dull/dead :p cheers! Xx
ReplyDeleteI hunted these down because I thought they'd be gone! Fortunately they had 2 left of subtle breeze. I live the color. Very powdery but nonetheless great! I'm thinking of the early morning. I'm medium dark skintone, what do you think? I don't look good in corals.
ReplyDeleteI got the mineralize skin finish in blonde, 2 eye shadows in twilight falls and in the sun. I also go the pillow talk lipstick that you talked about in one if your recent videos (I think it was the one with Ingrid). I absolutely LOVE the products. I don't buy many MAC products because I am typically conservative with my makeup, but over the course of the past year, I've decided to branch out and try new things. MAC has definitely delivered for me. I am going back to buy more lipsticks and blushes.
ReplyDeleteI feel your concern. When I buy from online and I disappointed in my purchase, I typically find another product that is similar in color and mix the two (or three) in order to get a wearable shade. Not ideal, but it works for me. I've done that with foundation and lipsticks before. :)

ReplyDeleteI picked up the blush Fresh Honey, MSF in Redhead, and eyeshadows in In The Sun and Daylight!!! I know, I love it all!!!! I also pickup Fix + because the Mac associate said the eyeshadows and MSF can be used wet!!!! He showed me a couple of swatches and I was SOLD!!!! The eyeshadow are so beautifully intense and the ALL looked AMAZING wet or dry!!!!! Highly, highly recommend this collection!!!!

This collection launched yesterday in my country. Hoping i can get my hands on 'early morning' tomorrow, early in the morning haha. Looks so simple, yet so pretty. And it's just like you said, they don't launch these kind of colors often. It's like that with a lot of brands.
