MAC Naturally Lipsticks: Swatches & Review!

I'm back today with a couple more products to share from the new MAC Naturally collection. This release feature four neutral lipsticks, and two of them really jumped out at me (as much as a nude shade could). Beach Sand is a light, sandy brown that is like a more opaque version of the Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee (one of my FAVORITE lip products recently). Pillow Talk is a medium rosy brown that is unlike anything I have in my collection.


These both have a cremesheen finish, which is one of my favorite finishes from MAC because it is very moisturizing. Because they are so creamy, they don't wear as long as something like a matte finish, but I don't mind reapplying every few hours. These are also very opaque.


And now for lip swatches! I love the way these look on! Very creamy.

  3. the pictures on mac's website do them no justice! those are STUNNING! both of them! I originally wasn't going to purchase anything from the naturally collection, but I think I changed my mind.

  5. I think I prefer pillow talk actually. Nudes tend to wash me out unless its a muted pink nude. lovely beach sand on you though!

  9. I've never worn brown lipsticks but I've done the nude lip before. I really like the Beach Sand. So pretty. Although I might branch out for the Pillow Talk too. Nothings wrong with experimenting. Although, all these new products my wallets not happy with me. Ha.

  11. I'm just wondering about a thing. Do you know how these compare to Dressmaker, Dressmaker and Made to Order from the Pret-a-Papier collection? From the pictures they remind me of those two.

  14. i love nude lipsticks! i actually think theyre great for wearing everyday especially if you apply it very lightlywith lipgloss on top so u dnt look u entire face dsnt look too washed out. pillow talk is perfect for everyday!

  25. Oh I really like these lipsticks! But I'm super fair (the lightest mac shades are too dark for me in the winter) and I have naturally quite pigmented lips so nude lipsticks usually look horrible on me. But I love it so much on other people... Wish I could pull it off myself! X

  32. Pillow talk looks very similar to revlon colorburst rosy nude, but I can't really tell for sure because of the lighting.
