Today's NOTD is a polish from the new L'Oreal spring collection. Now You Sea Me is a light blue cream, and it caught my eye because unlike most lighter blue polishes, it doesn't lean too warm or too cool. I found this at WalMart for just under $5, and was really hoping to love it because the rest of the collection has some fantastic colors I wanted to try as well. However, I felt the formulation on this one was lacking. It was quite watery, not so much that it was impossible to work with, but I did have some streaking issues and the coverage below is three coats.

natural light, 3 coats
Overall, I like the color and the price, but if you decide to try this one keep in mind that it may be thinner than other polishes you are used to!
Would you wear it?
xx, Allison
Funny, I featured one of L'Oreal's new polishes on my blog today! I thought the same thing about the formulation. It was thinner than I like and also used three coats. It dried fast, though.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know L'Oreal had nail polishes...where have I been all this time? LOL

I would definitely wear this colour, but I'm picky when it comes to nail polishes, so I would have to find something similar to OPI or something :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour but I do have cheaper alternatives such as Indigo by Barry M :)

This is super pretty! I was wondering how those polishes were.
ReplyDeleteI love that color, I really want to try out some lighter blue nails for spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteNice blue. Too bad that the formulation is thin. These would be nice to try out

I have a very similar color on my nails right now from Revlon called Dreamer. It's awesome with just one coat, but I did two. Just an FYI :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. I've seen ads and wanted to try this line, but I think I will still to my beloved Essie. It's $8 a polish, but a good quality/long-wearing one.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing this on my nails right now! I just put it on last night for the first time, and I really like it. I went back to the store today and purchased the Club Prive color.
ReplyDeleteAh loove this color.. this makes me so excited for spring to arrive!
ReplyDeletei would definitely wear it! such a beautiful blue!

I have two colors from L'Oreal and detest the formulation so unfortunately will probably not buy anymore. Which is a shame b/c some of the new colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a gorgeous blue color. I may be tempted to try it, despite its application. Thanks for the post!

ReplyDeleteAllison, NYX has discontinued the Portable Train Case you reviewed a wile ago!! Is there anyway you could get incontact with them and tell them that its a mistake and that they should bring it back or replace it with something better? I have already emailed and they would take your opinion into consideration more that mine because you are a YT guru with many many loyal followers. I saved for 6 months (ever since the day I saw your video) to get this and now its gone and I can't find anything else even close to as good as this! I would mean a lot to me if you did that - thank you!! You are hands down my favourite guru - you have the best tutorials and best reviews ever :) Please reply!! Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL color! Definatley reminds me of the sea. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour, not so sure that I'd love to do three coats of it though, that's a little disappointing! But your nails look great anyway :)
ReplyDeleteI love this colour! I just wish I could pull off blue nails.

ReplyDeleteI like the color!

Pretty color... I don't think I could pull this one off though. I usually like shimmer in my blues.
ReplyDeletehttp://t-g-life.blogspot.com/
I don't think I would wear it. Not if I would have to apply 3 coats to my nails. The color, however, is nice and different
ReplyDeletewww.aboutprettythings.blogspot.com
does it dry fast because 3 coat to me just sound like a lot of time i have to sit stil
ReplyDeleteAn almost exact dup for this is Orly's "Snowcone." It's the exact color and finish, but the formulation is great!
ReplyDeletei totally agree! i got a little carried away about bought 4 of them because the colours were soo nice. but i did not like the application whatsoever. i was very disappointed. i did manage to do this design with it though:
ReplyDeleteThis look like an Opi shade, "No blues in Room", something like that. You have to try those Chanel's Shaddes. april, may &June are awesome !
ReplyDeleteI love this shade, very pretty!

ReplyDeletelol im wearing this color right now and it looks nothing like this. maybe its the lighting lol
ReplyDeleteI like this color! But I'm not sure if I'd spent time painting on 3 coats. :( I think OPI has a similar color! Forgot the name though...
