Today's NOTD is Oriele Orange, a polish from the new MAC & Iris Apfel collection. This is a coral red creme that reminds me a lot of OPI Cajun Shrimp (one of my favorites). The formulation of this seemed much better than MAC polishes I've used in the past... it was nearly perfect! I used two coats for the photo below, but one coat was almost entirely opaque.
I love the name of this, as well with the rest of the collection, because it was bird inspired. This will be a great polish to pair with the lipsticks from this collection for spring and summer!
Would you wear it?
xx, Allison

Looks awesome on you ... but would probably look terrible on me :(
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! :D How similar is it to the OPI nail polish?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have gotten more from this collection! Everything looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteReally cool! Signe, http://downwithbirdie.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the colour! I already have Cajun Shrimp from OPI, do you recommend having both?

ReplyDeleteCan't believe this collection is not coming to Tallinn :(((
Hi Allison!
ReplyDeleteI have a great tip for you, when it comes to nails :) Dont' paint your WHOLE nails. Leave a smal space from the right and left side of each. It's like reshaping your nails! They will look much more elegant and optically longer!
Btw, I adore your tutorials on YouTube. You are my favourite beauty guru! And I love your sense of humor :)
Have a lovely day!
Ewa
It's an interesting color, but I think it'll look boring, if not terrible on me. I've never seen many MAC nailpolishes so I'm glad you posted this!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS COLOR!! Check out my blog and follow!! www.itsalushlifexo.blogspot.com !! Thanks(:

ReplyDeletethis is a cute shade, i would wear it! ♥
ReplyDeletethere is an exact dupe on this colour by the brand joe fresh and te colour is called Papaya and it retails for 4.00 $
ReplyDeleteMost nail polishes don't look good on me because I'm pale, but I'm going to look into this one. Are MAC nail polishes worth it?

Good to know the consistency is better in terms of MAC polishes. I have 2 and was initially v. disappointed with how goopy they were :( Hopefully that's changed! xx
ReplyDeleteI love that polish! It's beautiful, also going on my list..

Thanks for the post Allison! would you say its worth taking a look at if I already own Cajun Shrimp, or should I just save my money for something else?
ReplyDeleteI would save your money. The MAC polish is $15 anyway, which is a lot to spend on a color you already have a pretty close dupe of. Just my opinion though! :)
