Long time no blog! I've been all wrapped up in other things the last few weeks, but today I had some time to paint my nails for the first time in a while, and tried out a new color from Butter London's spring collection! Disco Biscuit is a hot pink base with purple, pink, and blue microshimmer in it. It's like a disco Barbie shade!

natural light, 2 coats
I must say, I cannot remember the last time I used a polish with a formulation this great. It seemed to be the perfect consistency while applying. I don't own many Butter London polishes, but this makes me want to pick up a few more. As far as dupes go, the only similar one I can think of is Wing It!, a limited polish from OPI a few summers ago. If you like bright, fun pinks, you may want to check this one out.
Hope you guys have been good!!
xx, Allison

ReplyDeleteI just have to say, THANK YOU for adopting a dog, let alone an elderly one in need of medical attention! My dog is adopted and proof of the fact that you can find the most amazing, unique personalities at the pound or shelters. All those homeless dogs deserve a chance, and I know Ronny will show his appreciation! Also, you and Fleur are clearly on the same wavelength! :P

I do love this polish but I find the formulation a bit thin for my taste. It goes on kind of patchy for me and I need 3 coats. Your pics look fabulous with just two coats! Jealous!
ReplyDeleteThis is the second Butter London polish I've tried, the first being All Hail the Queen which I also love. The formulation on that one is heavenly. I ordered Marrow online yesterday from Ulta and I can't wait to get it!
That colour is amazing! Love it!
ReplyDeleteAlso I love your youtube videos Allison! xx

The color is STUNNING on you!
ReplyDeleteI bought this nail polish because I fell in love with the color. However, when I got home the formulation of the polish was disappointing. It was runny and grainy it looked awful on it's own! :( I have several Butter London nail polishes and they ALL have been great! But not with Disco Biscuit? I kept it because I love the color. I first put a similar creamy pink color and then layer Disco Biscuit which seems to help.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I think I need to get my hands on this for Spring! :)
