Make sure to look at both the nails and the bottle in these photos... in a few of them, the bottle is more telling of what the color looks like.

ReplyDeleteWow, one coat, that is amazing. I picked up Dress Me Up and Fast Track. Love them both. I am wearing Dress Me Up with Fast Track as an accent nail and love the combo.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Allison! I already picked up Fast Track, Dress Me Up, Foie Gras, and Luxe and Lush from the collection. I wasn't initially drawn to Smoke and Ashes and, thus, didn't pick it up. Now I'm thinking I might have to since it's opaque in one coat! I have a black in my collection now but the formula stinks and it's not worth the bother. Maybe I'll rock black more often if it's this fabulous and such a breeze to apply!

Hi Allison! I was about to buy the Seche Vite topcoat based on how much you rave about it since I really trust your opinion. I don't know why, but while in the store I decided to read the box and read this warning:
ReplyDelete"WARNING! This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."

Anyway, I don't want to be a debbie downer. I just wanted to make sure you knew about it since I kind of feel like a friend after watching basically all your videos!

Wow, that's serious coverage for one coat! China Glaze are fast becoming one of my faves - wear well and look great. I'm currently drooling over all the Hunger Games collection, but getting a bit over glitter/shimmer, I'm feeling the need for solid colours.

I love the Hunger Games Collection! So much so that I ran out to Sally's and ended up buying five of the polishes!!! However, I'm super puzzled about their color choices??? It seems to me that this were created more for the Fall/ Winter. I wonder if the movie release got pushed back and China Glaze got stuck with these color combinations???? Although, I'm super pumped with these polishes I think I'll be wearing these more in the Fall. The only onethat That seems suitable for using this Spring/Summer is Riveting, it's such a beautiful and intense color!

ReplyDeleteHaha, I just bought this polish two days ago! I really liked it in the bottle, but I wish the shimmer showed up more on the nails... Most of the time, it just looks like a plain black with random little shimmers in it, but you can only see the blue and green shimmer when a bright light or sunlight is on it and still it's not very visible. I guess I had hopes too high for this polish!

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but there was almost no sight of any kind of shimmer even in the sun. I think I'll return the bottle. Disappointed :(
