Today's featured product is another new drugstore product, Maybelline's blush in Coral Blossom. This product initially caught my eye because of the rose design in it... I think it is adorable and very springy!
Maybelline came out with several blush shades with this line, all in their standard blush packaging. Believe it or not, this was the darkest of shades offered, and probably the only one I could get to show up on my skin tone, so I chose it by default!
This is definitely a natural blush for me... the color doesn't add more than a touch of warmth to my ~NC20 cheeks. The pigmentation was similar to the rest of Maybelline's blushes: decent but not amazing. I had to build up the swatch below a bit for that much color. To get this to show up on my skin, I have to use a fairly heavy hand.
Overall, I would recommend this if you have a fair/light skin tone and are looking for an affordable neutral blush. The color and design are beautiful! As for the quality, it is good, but not mind-blowing. I would give it an "average" rating.
What qualities do you look for in a blush? Pigmentation, texture, packaging? I think I look for pigmentation the most!
