<-- more -->I chose the shade 200, Enchanting Sunlight, because it was the medium of the three shades released, and looked the least orange to me.
As you can see, this product comes with a beautiful golden wave of sparkle through the middle of it. I like that the packaging is nice and easy to use (minimal plastic, large area for product). It is very similar in size to the MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes.
Unfortunately, the gold streak is only an overspray, as you can see below. This is what the powder looked like after merely swatching it.
As for swatches, there are three below: The matte bronzer by itself, the overspray, and the overspray and matte bronzer together. In theory, you will only get use out of the overspray once, so for continual use, reference the first swatch on the left!
One thing I really like about this product is the formulation is very smooth. The powder is finely milled and it applies and blends really nicely. As for color, it doesn't come across orange on my face, just warm. However, if I get a little too much on, it can pull a bit orange. If you are someone who likes cool/taupe colored bronzers, this isn't for you!
I found this for roughly $9 at Rite Aid, but through a sale and with a coupon I was able to save a few dollars on it. If you are looking for a new bronzer and don't mind one with warm tones, I would try it! I'll definitely be getting full use out of this one.
Have you picked up anything from Maybelline's new spring line?
