Today's post features the Rimmel London's eyeshadow quad in Smoky Brun. This product features a neutral color scheme of frosty colors, and it caught my eye in store as something that would make a great everyday eyeshadow combination.
I like that this quad features both a highlight shade and a dark, crease shade. It allows the option to vary looks from natural to dramatic. I also like the packaging, and I like that the powder has a quilted imprint (along with the Rimmel logo on the lightest shade).
This quad is really nicely pigmented, and the colors look beautiful on the skin. There isn't necessarily a single color that really stands out to me, but all around it is a nice selection.
This quad retails for roughly $4, but I got it for less with a coupon. If you are looking for an inexpensive eyeshadow palette with everyday colors, this is a nice pick. However, I don't feel like it is an extremely unique product or offers anything much different from the masses of neutral quads everywhere. Therefore, it may or may not be a very exciting addition to your collection.
What colors make the perfect eyeshadow quad for you? Mine are a shimmery highlight, matte tan, matte dark brown, and a some sort of shimmery lid color-- something peachy or taupe!
xx, Allison

Wet n wild walking in eggshells is my perfect trio. Wear it basically everyday and at night use a darker brown in the outer v. I usually just swap up my blush and lip colors . I have over 100 lip colors so that's obvi my fav:) I also love Jordana fabuliner from walgreens for $1.99 :)
ReplyDeleteI have this quad, I like it when I don't have a ton of time.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a nice little quad. Actually reminds me of the Dior ones which, of course, are so much more expensive!
