Nail of the Day: Revlon Pale Cashmere

I am in LOVE. Today's NOTD is a color from Revlon's newer Colorstay Nail Polish line, which is one of my favorite nail polish formulations ever. Pale Cashmere is a very, very light pink cream that is just fantastic on the nails.  This is very similar to another favorite of mine, OPI Bubble Bath, but I like the overall finish of Pale Cashmere better, it's a bit more glossy!  It may look more like a nude color in the photo below, but I promise, when you see it with the naked eye, you will detect a definite pink undertone to it.

natural light, 3 coats

The formulation on this was good, however it was very sheer.  The above finish took three coats to achieve, and if you look closely, you can see it is still a bit sheer.  I quite like the look of a semi-sheer light pink/nude like this one, so I don't mind.  Most polishes of this shade are usually pretty sheer as well, so I don't take this as a knock on Revlon's formula specifically.

Revlon Colorstay nail polishes retail for roughly $8 and can be purchased wherever Revlon is sold.  I cannot say enough good things about this line (Buttercup is another one I've recently raved about, as well as the top and base coat), so I highly recommend it.

Would you wear it?
xx, Allison

  2. I purchased Revlon Colorstay in Buttercup after watching your review on it and fell in love! I also love the base and top cost as well! I may have to give this one a try too! Btw, thanks for the video on how you clean your makeup brushes!

  3. That is a fantastic color! I love the nude with a subtle hint of pink... It looks great on you, and YES I would definitely wear this!

  4. Purchased this last week based on your recommendation. Beautiful!

  5. I like it but I do wish it wasn't so sheer Id rather use like essies Fiji and I get a similar effect
