Time for another installment of L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow swatches! Today, I have two grey shades and two red/purple shades to share with you!
First up is Liquid Diamond, a metallic silver. It is hard to tell in photos, but this silver has a very slight purple undertone to it.
Liquid Diamond
As expected, the formulation of this one is great. No complaints here!

Sultry Smoke
I really like the formulation of this one. It is hard to find creamy, pigmented matte colors sometimes but this one is great. The formulation of the Infallible matte eyeshadows reminds me a little of the MAC Matte2 formulation (Handwritten, Blanc Type, Copperplate, Fig 1...). It is very buttery.

Next is Glistening Garnet, a ruby red/pink jeweltone color. This has a frosty metallic finish.

Saving the best for last, next up is Smoldering Plum. When I saw this shadow in the store, I knew it was going to be one of those super dark colors that either lacked pigmentation, or was entirely awesome.
Smoldering Plum
Thankfully, this is the latter. Smoldering Plum is probably the most impressive vampy purple eyeshadow I've come across. It is a deep plum with a subtle lighter purple shimmer in it. The pigmentation is outstanding, as the swatch below is one quick swipe. If you like dark purples, you will want to add this one to your collection.

The L'Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Eyeshadows are some of the highest quality drugstore shadows I have tried. These retail for roughly $8 each, but it doesn't take too much searching to find some sort of sale on them (I got these BOGO 50% Off). I highly recommend these!
If you are interested in more swatches of other colors from this line:

Stay tuned for an upcoming tutorial on my beauty channel involving some of these colors!
xx, Allison

I would love to see a tutorial of you using the garnet color. Its practically the only color I'm missing but the swatch wasn't as intimidating as I imaged. Not sure how to wear it though.
ReplyDeleteIn love with your reviews!
