LUSH French Kiss Bubble Bar: Photos + Review!

As summer starts to taper off, I've begun to take more bubble baths, and one of the products I've been using recently is the LUSH French Kiss Bubble Bar.  This candy kiss shaped creation smells of lavender, rosemary and thyme, and is meant to produce fragrant bubbles when run under hot water.

I love the fragrance of this, it smells exactly like something that would be in a spa.  Unfortunately, this didn't produce a very high volume of bubbles.  I ended up using the entire bar in one bath, and there still weren't enough bubbles to cover the entire surface of the water.

If you are someone who likes a lot of bubbles, or to get multiple uses out of one LUSH bar, I would skip this one.  I find that other Bubble Bars from LUSH are potent enough for 2-3 baths, so this is definitely sub-par.  However, the fragrance was fantastic, so if you don't mind low bubblage (new word for Webster!), it may be right up your alley!

This bar retails for $8.95 and can be purchased wherever LUSH is sold in the US (not sure of availability in LUSH overseas).

Do you like bubbles in your bath?
xx, Allison

  1. If you've used Lush bubble bars before you might already know this, but the best way to ensure 'bubblage' is to crumble the product under your running tap. That way you activate the product as well as ensuring you don't use too much of it all in one go. Hope that helps xx
