LUSH Ro's Argan Body Conditioner: Photos + Review!

I've been a little out of luck when it comes to trying new LUSH products lately (as you probably read in my last few reviews), but I am thrilled to be back today with a product that actually worked well for me!  Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is a cream meant for applying in the shower, then rinsing off.  The entire idea sounds a bit backward to me... why would you apply your lotion then let water wash it off?

Ro's Argan comes in one of LUSH's black jar pots.  This product smells like roses and argan oil, so naturally it is like kryptonite to me.

"Ro Knows good rose, and her nose knows it!  She created our luxurious rose and argan conditioner for fragrant, rose petal soft skin.  Smooth all over wet body after bathing or showering, rinse off and lightly towel yourself dry."

Following the instructions, I've been using this the past few weeks by applying it at the end of my shower, smoothing over my skin, then immediately rinsing it off.  It's the strangest thing, but it actually works.  Immediately I can feel the oils in my skin, and even after I get out and pat myself off with a towel, my skin feels significantly different.  I love it!  The unfortunate part is I use a lot of product at one time, so I only use this once every week or so as a treat.  It probably is a little too moisturizing to use every day anyway!

Overall, I give Ro's Argan a thumbs up!  However, you can feel the oils on your skin after using it, and if that sounds like something you would hate, I would skip it.  I personally love it though, which is odd considering I usually hate feeling any kind of substance on my skin.

Ro's Argan can be purchased wherever LUSH Cosmetics are sold!

Do you use any "unusual" products that work really well?
xx, Allison

  1. Use LUSH's Turkish Delight beforehand and you'll be all rose'd out ;). It's my favorite combo.

  3. I also use this product on the ends of my hair to add a boost when in conditioning and it does wonders for my bleached, dry hair xx
