Today I'm sharing one of my go-to everyday lipsticks this season, MAC Syrup. I've heard people talk about this color for years, but for some reason have completely ignored it during MAC visits until now.
I picked up this color a few weeks ago and have found it is a lovely medium pink with a touch of plum to it, making it perfect for fall!
Syrup has a lustre finish, which I like because it is a little sheer and has a sheen to it.
This lipstick is about the same level of darkness as my natural lip color, so it gives a really natural effect while still polishing my everyday look. It also makes my lips look nice and hydrated, which I like!
MAC lipsticks retail for $15 and can be purchased wherever MAC cosmetics are sold. Remember: if you bring six empty plastic MAC containers (compacts, bottles, etc.) to any MAC location, you can swap for a FREE lipstick through their Back To MAC recycling program! This is how I have snagged about half of the MAC lipsticks I own! :)

ReplyDeleteMacs brick o la is my go to. And when I want to amp it up I layer nars scandal on top. For my medium skin tone, it's my go to combo to look put together. Scandal is for when I'm running out the door.
ReplyDeleteI feel like syrup would be beautiful with a dark eye as opposed to a nude lip as it gives natual color without washing you out
Syrup is my favorite lipstick of all time, and I don't feel like it gets nearly enough attention. So glad you're giving it a moment in the spotlight!
