Benefit Crescent Row Fragrance Set for Holiday 2012: Review!

I have another holiday gift set to share with you guys today!  Benefit's Crescent Row Fragrance Set for Holiday 2012 features four mini perfumes from their permanent line, including the latest See & Be Seen Sasha fragrance.

The box these fragrances come in reminds me a bit of an advent calendar, with each product in a window.

Each bottle is .34 fl oz/10 mL.  For comparison, the full size perfumes from Benefit are 1.0 oz each, so these are exactly 1/3 of a full size.

The four fragrances featured are:
  • Laugh With Me Lee Lee: flirty and feminine woody floral
  • My Place or Yours Gina: sinfully sexy woody oriental
  • Ring My Bella: sweetly seductive fruity floral
  • See & Be Seen Sasha: daring and captivating floral
All four of these fragrances are right on point with notes that I like.  My three favorite notes for a perfume are floral, woodsy, and citrus.  All four of these have either floral, woodsy, or both!  Honestly, I sat smelling them trying to choose a favorite, and I couldn't.

I love the bottle design of Benefit fragrances.  I think it is unique and aesthetically appealing.  Unfortunately, these minis do not come with a spray pump to spritz on-- you have to pour the perfume out of the bottle (not actually pour, more like tip upside down against the skin).  This is a matter of personal preference, but for me this is a big downfall.  I am not a fan of the pour-style perfumes.

Now because these don't have a spray feature, they lose some points for me, but as far as the actual scent goes, they are fantastic.  I wouldn't mind having all of these in full sizes with the spray feature.  I have the See & Be Seen Sasha fragrance in a full size, and I get a lot of use out of that one.

This set retails for $36, which isn't bad considering the amount of product you are getting.  This would make a great gift as a whole, or even split up for four different people.  If you (or whoever the gift is for) don't mind not have the spray function, it's worth checking out!  Also, if you are someone who likes to carry perfume in your handbag, these are a nice size.

Are you picky with spray vs. non-spray perfumes?  I like rollerballs, but other than that I gravitate toward fragrances I can mist on.

xx, Allison
